Summer Carnival Rotterdam
On July 30, 2022 it will be summer carnival in Rotterdam again. More than 2500 dancers, 25 carnival groups and floats will be turning the city center of Rotterdam upside down. Al these activities are within walking distance of our hotel, as we are located across the central station of Rotterdam. The Summer Carnival Street Parade means an explosion of colour, music, celebration and creativity. Every year, dancers from all parts of the world, cultures and nationalities participate in the street parade. The Parade passes through the center of Rotterdam.
CuliNESSE
CuliNESSE is a three-day festival with a packed musical, culinary and cultural programming. On August 25,26 and 27 you can enjoy the best artists and the tastiest dishes from well-known restaurants from the region. This year there will be an extra big party: CuliNESSE is celebrating its tenth anniversary! You can easily reach CuliNESSE from our hotel by taking the metro at Beurs in the direction of Nesselande.
Activities around and near Rotterdam
During the summer months we definitely recommend that you spend a day at the beach Hoek van Holland. Hoek van Holland is easy to reach by metro from Rotterdam Beurs. You can reach Beurs from our hotel within 10 minutes. The beach of Hoek van Holland is very large and beautiful, there are several beach pavilions and shops.
Fancy a walk? Then visit the Kralingse Bos. A large forest, located on the Kralingse lake. This location is suitable for various outdoor activities. Walk through the woods, or swim in the lake. There are also a number of playgrounds on the Kralingse Plas and you can barbecue there. Fun for everyone.
